The Faculty of Eurasia and East is a unique combination of traditions and innovations, rare high-qualified specialists and ambitious young students. The motto of the Faculty is: The East is closer than you think.

The Faculty was founded in 1998 to meet the needs of the Southern Urals in the organisation of international relations with the countries of the East. Thanks to the highly qualified Russian and foreign professors our graduates are widely demanded all over the world. The faculty is at the origin of formation of oriental and philosophical scientific schools of the Southern Urals, is an active participant of scientific research in the field of political science, philosophy, linguistics, pedagogy and methods of teaching oriental languages. 
 
The faculty is a leader in international relations with Eastern countries not only at CSU, but also in the Southern Urals. Students undergo language internships in Russia and abroad, including Shenyang Normal University (PRC), Liaocheng University (PRC), Beijing Language and Culture University, Mababo International Company (Japan), Allameh Tabatabai University (Iran), universities in Korea, Algeria and many others.
