The trade union committee

Legal support for students:

• represents the rights and interests of students before the university administration;
• provides free legal advice on issues related to education;
• provides assistance in protecting students in case of illegal expulsion from an educational institution;
• defends the rights of students to receive scholarships;
• does not allow students to be overloaded with training sessions;
• monitors the implementation of existing regulations concerning the rights of students.

Social and material support of students:​

• coordinates and participates in the development of documents at the university concerning the social protection of students;
• provides financial assistance in difficult situations;
• helps in collecting documents for the appointment of a social scholarship;
• implements a program to support certain categories of students.

Student employment:

• organizes temporary, part-time employment of students during their studies;
• helps students in summer employment;
• organizes the work of labor groups (guides, counselors, builders);
• helps graduates find employment.

Organization of events:

• organizes cultural events (Spring ball, Dedication to students, Trade Union Committee fulfills dreams, etc.);
• organizes sports and recreation events (Donor Day, Paintball Cup of the Trade Union Committee, counter strike, etc.);
• supports student initiatives to organize events;
• helps faculties in organizing their events.​

Training of trade union activists:

• Organizes annual trade union activist schools;
• Directs students to participate in schools of other universities;
• Organizes the annual competition "Student leader of ChelSU";
• Helps in organizing faculty schools of the asset.​
