THE SCIENCE

There are more than 30 scientific schools in CSU that carry out research of a wide profile – from materials science and problems of the regional economy to the study of leisure practices of the population and user content in networks.

All research and innovation activities are supported by cooperation with leading research centers, foundations and organizations in Russia and abroad.

CREATIVE ASSOCIATIONS

The CSU Student Creativity Center invites future first-year students to try their hand at dancing, singing, theater arts and much more! 18 creative teams, over 500 solo performers and a large audience of viewers.

And for those who think in pictures, a student media center has been opened in CSU. Photographers, videographers, journalists and aspiring SMM students gather here, who attend all university events and tell the world about it.

The largest organisation of CSU, the main task of which is to protect the rights of students and represent their interests at all levels of authority, to improve the quality of life. The trade union provides financial assistance to its members regardless of their form of education, implements a programme to support certain categories of students and helps in collecting documents for scholarships and grants, organises Student Leader, Trade Union Activist School, Donor Day and other events.

Barrier-free environment

Chelyabinsk State University has the status of a resource educational and methodological center for teaching disabled people and persons with disabilities, whose territory of responsibility is the Chelyabinsk Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Kurgan Region.

CSU has been engaged in the practical development of issues of accessibility of higher education for people with disabilities and the formation of an inclusive education system for 30 years.

Sanatorium preventorium

Here you will find consulting and diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care, medical treatment, physiotherapy, massage, herbal medicine, accommodation in double and triple rooms. Catering is organised in the University canteens on a coupon system.

Library

The fundamental Library is an infrastructure that gives knowledge to our students, which helps all faculties, all institutes to organize a highly qualified educational process.

Botanical Garden

The only scientific center in the Chelyabinsk Region dealing with the problems of the introduction of plants of local flora and foreign species.
