The Faculty of Fundamental Medicine has been set up in a classical university because that's what people need these days. CSU has responded to the modern job market by launching new specialties, "Medical Biochemistry" and "Medical Biophysics", in 2018. Now, these specialists are seen as the doctors of the future. Medical education in a classical university is all about the fundamentals of the subjects studied. The lecturers who teach the first-year courses are all really qualified in their own right, and they make sure that the students have a solid grounding in the basics before moving on to the more advanced medical subjects.Graduates end up with a really in-depth knowledge of the subject as well as a wide range of practical skills, both in the lab and using equipment.Physician biochemists and physician biophysicists are the ones who deal with diagnosing patients, so they play a really important role in making sure that people get the best possible care.

The faculty was set up in 2018, based on Chelyabinsk State University.
