The Faculty of Ecology was founded in 1996, and for 25 years we've been training more than 500 graduates. Our graduates are in high demand in the most promising and modern engineering specialities, and because our training areas are so unique and there's such a high demand for environmental specialists in enterprises, our graduates have a much easier time finding work.
The country doesn't have enough professional ecologists to do environmental expertise on projects, and in today's business world where environmental requirements are so high, professional ecologists in enterprises and in the sphere of control are vital.
Our graduates work as ecologists in industrial enterprises in the city and region, in state management bodies at federal, regional and municipal levels, in state specially protected areas, in research laboratories, educational institutions, firms and the business sphere.
The Faculty of Ecology is:

The base for educational and field practice is a biostation located on the shore of Maloe Miassovoye Lake. In addition, during the period of study, each student undergoes practical training at industrial enterprises of the city and the region, as well as in state management bodies.
The Student Self-Governance Council has been set up and is doing really well, and the exchange of professional experience within the framework of international cooperation of students has become a tradition.In their free time, students are involved in various clubs and sections, such as bardic song, oriental dancing, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and others.
Students of the faculty regularly take part in sports competitions of regional, national and international levels, winning prizes.
