The Faculty of Biology of Chelyabinsk State University was established in 1998.
The first dean and founder of the Faculty was Burmistrova Alexandra Leonidovna, Doctor of Sciences (in Medicine), Professor, Head of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and General Biology of the Faculty of Biology of Chelyabinsk State University.
Currently the Dean of the Faculty of Biology is Stashkevich Daria Sergeevna, Candidate of Sciences (in Biology), Associate Professor.
Creation of the Faculty of Biology and all its successes are inextricably linked not only with CSU, but also with the names of heads of major medical and biological institutions of Chelyabinsk:
